The boy's mother, Arlene Drake, is driving a 2004 silver Ford Mustang with New Mexico license plate AKMF23 bearing the new Chile design, the Valencia County Sheriff's Office said.
Valencia County Sheriff's Office said it is searching for a 6-year-old boy believed to be in imminent danger after he was taken by his mother.
Freddie Drake is 4 feet tall, and weighs approximately 37 pounds. He has blonde hair and blue eyes.
He was taken Monday morning by Arlene Drake.
She is described as a 35-year-old Caucasian female, 5-foot-tall, 102 pounds, brown hair, and green eyes.
“We believe that the child is in danger, imminent danger. That is why we issue these alerts as soon as we get the information,” said Public Information Office and Public Relations Outreach Unit Lt. Mark Soriano.
Amber Alert issued
An Amber Alert was issued for Freddie at approximately 4 a.m. April 22 by Valencia County Sheriff’s Office and New Mexico State Police.
Freddie was last seen in Belen.
He was wearing a black long-sleeved shirt and blue jeans.
Drake is driving a 2004 silver Ford Mustang with New Mexico plate number AKMF23 bearing the new Chile design.
The vehicle was last seen on U.S. Highway 47 and Jemez Road in Belen.
Officials were unsure which direction Drake may be traveling at this time.

It is unknown if there are any weapons in the vehicle.
