I hope your New Year is off to a good start.  Do you have any big plans or resolutions for the New Year?
Here at the Chamber we are very excited for 2018. We are looking forward to working with our members and offering them more for their membership. Thank you to all of our new and renewing members for 2017 and to everyone that supported the Chamber last year.

“Stay Well” Farmington on Saturday, Jan. 27, at the Farmington Chamber Health Fair. This year’s health fair will be held at the Farmington Civic Center from 10-1. It is free to attend this event and the first 200 people will receive tote bag.  There will be 40 vendors giving out information some will be doing screenings

Red Coat Ambassadors go to the Roundhouse

The month of January would not be complete until the Chamber Redcoats Ambassadors make their annual trip to Santa Fe to represent Farmington at the legislative session.  The legislative reception takes place on Jan. 29th and they will share with the legislators the issues from San Juan County. As ambassadors of Farmington they will also have the opportunity to share all that is great about Farmington.

Don't miss the annual banquet

On Feb. 2, the Chamber will hold its’ annual meeting and banquet. This year’s theme is the 50’s. Each year at the banquet we have the honor of naming a Citizen of the Year and a Business of the Year. I am very excited to see who will receive this honor.
Also at the banquet the Annual Report for the Chamber will be given and we will be saying thank you to our 2017 Chairman of the Board, Carmen Martinez, and welcoming our 2018 Chairman, Adam Kinney.
